There are three kinds of message we’d like to get. A guide didn’t cover your exact situation. You’ve spotted something out of date or wrong. Or there’s a topic you’d like us to cover. All three are welcome, and a real person reads every message.
This page explains what to send and what happens next. When you’re ready, use the contact form. Nothing is sold or booked here, so there’s no sales follow-up.
If a guide didn’t fit your situation, tell us which guide you read and what’s different for you, such as your state, the season or the job. We can’t give personalised professional advice, but your question shows us where a guide falls short. Reader questions are one of the main ways we find out what a guide is missing.
If there’s a topic you’d like us to cover, tell us what you’re trying to work out and what you’ve found unhelpful elsewhere. That tells us more than a topic name on its own.
Spotted a mistake? Tell us. Include the link to the article, what you think is wrong and the source if you have one. If the point depends on your state or council, tell us where you are. You don’t need to be an expert to send one. A link to an official source, such as your state water authority, council or the operator, helps us check it. We treat corrections as a way to improve the site, not a nuisance, and we check each one against the article.
Yes. A real person reads every message. The process is short:
If a correction holds up, we fix the page and add an update note at the top. Our updates and corrections page explains how that works. We ask only for the details we need to reply, we never sell them, and our privacy policy explains how we handle them.
While you wait, keep reading related guides on the same topic.
We publish guides. We don’t do the work, take bookings or give personalised professional advice, so these messages won’t get the result you’re after:
We also can’t give a single guaranteed answer where the honest answer depends on your location, the rules or your circumstances. What we can do is explain what it depends on.
We’d rather tell you that now than leave you waiting. For a trade job, contact a licensed tradesperson. For a booking, go to the operator directly. If you’re not ready to write yet, browse the latest articles or read who’s behind the site.
